Continuing Education

In dealing directly with physicians we feel that it is extremely important to educate our referring physicians on lower extremity care and biomechanics. We will conduct one-on-one or group educational talks in order to better inform physicians on the pathologies that can be helped through the use of orthotic therapy. In additon, we will also demonstrate our state-of-the-art foot mapping technology and take the physician through our patient assessment process - beginning with the initial assessment, to the fitting of the orthotics to the following up on the patient's progress.

To further educate our referring physicians we have designed a "cheat sheet" for reference which is a summary of all the common pathologies that can be helped through the use of orthotic therapy. It describes their symptoms, what causes the problem and how orthotics can help these conditions. Our goal is to make sure your patients are given the best possible care available. We believe that educating physicians is the first step in recognizing what symptoms or conditions to refer.
